Sugar Bloom Cakery & Coffee

An adorable bakery to sit and chat in, grab a snack, and treat yourself. The vibe is very fun and clean, the coffee is flavorful and robust, the baked goods are yummy, but not necessarily the big draw for me. I would definitely come back to meet up with a friend or grab a latte and read a book.

Such a lovely experience! Workers were really welcoming and offered such a kind presence and oh my gosh the pistachio matcha is actually to die for. I didn’t get a chance to take a picture because I couldn’t wait and gobbled them up as soon as I could but the macarons 10/10 so so good you must go in and try because everything served presentation and excellent taste! I can’t wait to try more

I ordered a cake from Sugarbloom for my sisters bridal shower and it was just stunning, so elegant, and perfect for the occasion. The cake itself was soft, moist, and delicious and the frosting was just right, flavorful without being too sweet. Everyone at the shower loved it. I’ve been here before for the brownies and cookies and all the other delicious treats they offer, but it was a first for the cake. The staff is very sweet and friendly. Would definitely recommend.

Finally got to visit Sugar Bloom, very glad I did! Service was excellent and the options of baked goods was endless and so so hard to decide! The cost is a bit pricey but I'm my opinion, it's all worth it. You definitely get what you pay for, quality. The only issue I have is that they forgot my cinnamon roll! I was so distracted by the goodies in my box that I didn't even notice until I got home, which was one hour away. So I'll just have to go back and get one another time

Go here for the pastries. They have a beautiful display of home-baked goods (note, everything is ridiculously large and probably meant for more than one person). The coffee experience, disappointing. I brought my own mug as I do to every coffee shop. It's marked on the bottom exactly 16 ounces, same as a standard sized latte anywhere you go. Seemed like the first time anyone has ever requested this. It confused the heck out of the sweet girl who took my order, she asked another employee how to handle it, and they decided to make my latte into a paper cup then transfer it to my mug. I told her that defeats the purpose. Another girl came out to help and handed me my latte about an inch and a half short and asked if this was okay. In the coffee world, for this price per ounce, an inch and a half is a lot. I just wanted to get out of there so I thanked them and left. She handed me my cookie in a giant plastic box. I understand not having vast ecological knowledge, but come on people, just put the cookie in a paper bag and call it a day. So much waste, they seemed to have no concept of any of this. Not a place for me, but maybe you'll love it.

Let me start off by this place being so beautiful inside, when you walk in you see the display of yummy goodies, we ordered the strawberries and cream pastry. 1000/10, the two lovely workers are so sweet. The place wasn’t filled with people but as soon as I walked in more people came in. Check out the pictures of this place. Great service, great coffee and AMAZING pastrys.

We are traveling and had a few very stressful days right before the trip, so we decided to treat ourselves to a little something. We looked up bakeries along the route and found Sugar Bloom. The fact that they encourage one to "Treat Yo' Self" made us very happy indeed. Because what is life but one long Parks and Recs show? We read through the reviews and found several stating the cupcakes were dry. We hadn't planned to buy any even before that, but we asked the locals when we went in and they confirmed- with one caveat. The cupcakes need to be split in two with the icing between the bottom and top half! So we ordered three Service was excellent! The staff was friendly and helpful. Even when I mistakenly thought they forgot a slice of cheesecake but they hadn't, they were gracious and full of joy. I looked right at in the box, but had been looking for a triangle and the type I ordered was a square piece! Everything was delicious and we will definitely stop by next time we pass through town. Well done Sugar Bloom!

The cupcakes and pastries are always so fresh and delicious! The service is exceptional; they go above and beyond (see photo of drawing on my cup…that’s me!) I come to Redlands once a year on an annual business trip and NEVER miss visiting this delightful place.
